Student Advice & Support

The College has a team of fully qualified careers advisers to offer you advice and guidance on learning, work and progression.  You can access the service by email, telephone, or in person, either for quick queries or to book an individual appointment.

The Careers Advice and Guidance desk is located in the main Reception at the Parkshot campus (Richmond) and is open Monday – Thursday, 10.00 am – 2.00 pm.  You may drop in for a quick query (up to 15 minutes), or you can book if you require a longer appointment (up to 50 minutes).

These are currently free to all students attending RACC. If you are not currently a student, we can still see you free of charge if you meet one of the following requirements:

a)  You do not have qualifications at:

•    Level 2 (5 GCSE grade A* - C)
•    Level 3 (2 A-levels), OR

b) If you do have qualifications above level 3 but you are at risk of redundancy or are unemployed.

If you would like to check your eligibility or would like to book an advice session, please click here.

There is a small careers library and staff on hand to help you.  A number of our College Student Guides are available as downloads click here to view

We are on the ground floor, easily available by wheelchair.  If you require literature in large print or additional assistance, this is available on request.
