RACC on-hand for FREE Massage at the May Fair

Date:
10 May 2010

Despite heavy weather at the Richmond Fair on Saturday 8th May 2010 the Richmond Adult Community College (RACC) tent was a buzz of activity for adults who queued up to get a free neck and hand massage.

May FairThe College’s Complementary Therapies staff were available to provide a little light relief to Richmond May Fair attendees.

The bright tent, bunting and college van helped to signpost the College at the May Fair and kept the massage team dry when the heavens opened up.

In addition the enthusiastic RACC staff team of Maura Swabey, Monika Jarosiewicz-Quayle, Abla Mohamed and Gay Stanford encouraged adult visitors to find out about all the free courses available at the college during Adult Learners Week on 15th – 21st May 2010.

May FairAdult Learners' Week is the UK's largest and longest running learning campaign. Held each May, it encourages thousands of adults, whatever their age and background, to give learning a go.

RACC is offering 78 free taster courses for adults to take part in learning from Pilates, Jewellery Making to Computing.

Look out for the RACC Tent at the Kew, Twickenham and Ham Fairs in June and July 2010.
