You will learn how to measure, cut and construct picture mounts, frames, glass and backing boards. You will learn the safe use of the Morso picture framer and associated equipment.
Level 1 literacy recommended as there will be some handouts used in class.
You will learn the individual steps that lead to a framed, mounted and glazed picture. Learners are welcome to bring their own pictures into class for framing and by the end of the course you will be able to safely measure and cut glass. And also to use cutting tools for mounting and backing pictures. You will also be able to measure and cut picture frames using the Morso professional picture framing machine.
Continual weekly assessment and one to one guidance through practical assignments.
